The thing is, you'd have to show a quid pro quo. So where is it? And there was no ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden's employer. In fact, Shokin wasn't doing much investigation of anyone. Which is why the EU as well as the Obama administration also wanted him booted out. This was not Joseph Biden acting on his own. If anything, getting a more zealous prosecutor, (probably not possible to get a less zealous one,) would have hurt hurt Biden's Ukrainian employer and possibly the Bidens were corruption to have been found.

People shouldn't even play the game of entertaining the deflection game about Biden's son. 

That's not the issue here. The issue is a sitting and tweeting president pressuring a foreign government to illegally give dirt on a political opponent in exchange for military aid. 

Even if an explicit quid pro quo can't be proven what we know already is definitely impeachable. 

Speaking of which, in my opinion, impeachment is coming.

False. Biden didn't threaten to fire prosecutor who was getting too close to his son. That prosecutor hadn't been investigating Burisma, for which Biden's son worked, for at least 14 months. In fact, he wasn't going after anyonr apparently on the grounds of corruption. It wasn't Biden's idea to put pressure on Ukraine. It was US policy and EU policy. Biden was just the messenger.

 

As for dems going to Ukraine. They had evidence that Manafort was corrupt. And he got convicted for it. By a US court. On many counts.
