He is also a whistle-blower who has written a best selling book about his experiences as a real wistleblower. He has some rather negative views on how the Intelligence community deals with whistle-blowers who expose problems. His whistle-blowing had nothing to do with politics, rather health problems he and his family suffered because of an assignment. (There, I wrote that myself, you can find the information everywhere, all from legitimate references) If you don't believe Shipp, you should really question the current whistle-blower, who is deeply involved in politics.
