Thanathorn dares DPM Prawit to meet him face-to-face

Future Forward party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit has dared Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan to summon him for questioning whether the party might be linked to a protest, by a group of Mexicans and Peruvians, in front of a hotel in New York where Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was staying on Monday.

He insisted that the deputy prime minister had no authority to summon him for questioning because he did nothing wrong, but said that he would be willing to provide information if his cooperation is sought.

Thanathorn admitted that he hired a US lobbyist, APCO Worldwide LLC, to arrange his itinerary during his four-day visit to the US in July and to prepare some required legal documents in English.

"He insisted that the deputy prime minister had no authority to summon him for questioning because he did nothing wrong, but said that he would be willing to provide information if his cooperation is sought."

But I suspect the RTP do have that authority. Although on form, only if it's convenient and if he fancies dropping by.

Why do you suspect RTP has any authority at all in political matters

I love the show for how Thananthorn gave disrespect that you are not my Poo Yai back to Prawit. Now the bad thing is he might be brought up on charges of National Security for not showing his so called superiors the respect which might be considered inciting chaos. Go get him Thananthorn and don't take their BS!

They do seem to have their noses in many issues outside law enforcement.

DPM Prawit forgot to look in the mirror to remind himself that he has now shed the military uniform & must abide by parliamentary rules. The opposition as such are allowed to question & if need-be peacefully protest against the sitting government... unless of course you are a dictatorship and not the democratic party you say you are?
