Ais Sms Settings

Featured Replies

All,

Got a call today from a very charming English speaking lady from AIS Call Centre. She advised me that I needed to change my SMS centre number prior to April 1 or my SMS's would cease to work.

I've not seen this here nor heard it mentioned so thought I'd post this as a general informational

Present AIS SMS Centre Number is +6618310808

New number {surprise} +66818310808

Regards

T'was sms'ed to me about a month ago. Didn't make any difference to me, as I still couldn't send international SMS's.

The new number (+66818310808) came pre-programmed into my phone which I purchased ~ 3 months ago. Under "Message Centres", I have AIS as a selection. I can send/receive domestic and international SMSes successfully.

When I look at the "Message Details" from SMSes I receive from people in Thailand on the DTAC network, I see they are coming in from Message Centres without the leading "8" (+66 1 631 1004/1005).

I have this nuber already but still cannot recieve sms for over 2 weeks
