Popular Post champers
An article in today's Bangkok Post reports that Pattaya is facing a drought. Reservoirs are at greatly reduced levels compared to last year and supplies are having to be piped in from Rayong and bought from a private supplier. Householders can expect limits in usage to be imposed, though no mention is made of limits for businesses, including hotels. 1 1

Guderian
The Post was also reporting that Bangkok and its environs will be completely submerged by the sea in 15 years time. I think you need to take their "journalism" with a large pinch of salt.

KhunBENQ
This "winter" might become one of the worst drought/water crisis periods since. This Pattaya news is just a facet. Multiple provinces in the northeast have been warned of water shortage. I cross my fingers that our deep well will supply until next year. This chart shows the deviation from normal since Jan 1 until yesterday. And the rainy season is over!

A bit strange as we have had some hellish downpours just recently. But I must admit, I haven't been trapped in town on the bike much this year. Popular Post Rimmer
We have a large pond in the garden, four weeks back it was drying out and all my tilapia and Koy were dying, now its within two inches of the top and yesterday had to clear the outside drain for fear of it over topping and the fish swimming over the lawns. 3
