Thaivisa mobile apps to close

Thaivisa closed its mobile apps on iOS and Android as of 15 November 2019 due to lack of usage.

We regularly review the wide range of services available on Thaivisa in order to assess which services people value the most.

The result of this is that different areas of the site are often updated and improved.

However, it sometimes means that those services which are less popular with our users are closed.

While we have seen a significant increase in the number of users accessing the site from a mobile device via a mobile browser, only a small number of people were using the mobile apps.

We are aware that those who were using the app are likely to be disappointed by this decision. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support.

But in closing our mobile apps, this will allow us to prioritise other services which will ultimately offer more value to our user base.

Thaivisa is of course still accessible to users on smartphone or tablet via a mobile browser, as well as from a desktop/laptop.
