Best Location to Watch Fireworks Festival?

Featured Replies

The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is 29th & 30th of November.

Is there a good location to watch? Anywhere on the beach? Rooftop bar?

thanks for any info.

There are a number of hotels in Pattaya offering somewhat pricey "packages" over the two days. If you click on the "WHATS ON" link at the top of Thaivisa page and then click on "Pattaya", there is a list on the right hand side. Have a trawl down the list which has the relevant dates until you come to the offers.

Should you decide to spend NYE in Isaan, you may sit on our roof for free. And you might even get a free beer!

Anywhere in the Beach works.

Bars/Hotels make it an expensive time, it is fun on the Beach with the locals... just goofy tourists spoil it! Bring a mat and food and drink.

Had a room on the top floor of Wave Hotel for the last one.  Fireworks pretty much directly outside on a barge, and probably even better location than the Hilton.   They had a buffet dinner on the rooftop for 1500b which looked very nice.

Doing it for free, you probably can't go wrong anywhere on the beach from in front of the Hilton to about 500m south of there.  Last time was terrific and well worth the energy to get there.

Great video. When it finishes and other choices are shown, I watched one called "If it were not filmed, no one would believe it #1"    Life is luck.

I watched from the waters edge last year as the beach was free and clear but the year before the beach was full and beach chairs were 150 bahts

Booked a table at a well known 5* hotel on the front, they had a special package on. the Fire works started late, the package had finished and they then let any one in for free, total waste of time and money, find some where on the beach to watch and take a few drinks way to go!
