Trump needs Ukraine to be the bad actor who influenced (not a shread of proof besides Fox's talking heads) 2016 so he can say it was them not Russian interference to lift sanctions for Putin. This is worth mega-billions and Trump must repay Putin for financing his business for 6+ billion ( Deutsche bank).

What crime has Trump committed? No prima facia case has been shown to date. The FBI on  the other hand have committed crimes as the evidence now shows.

Not much were needed for prima facia evidence as Trump’s abuse of power were in transcripts and admission on the WH lawn in front of cameras. Backed by his Acting Secretary of State Mulvaney open admission there were ‘favour’ and quid pro quo. Ambassador Sondland declaring under oath also said there was quid pro quo. Case closed.

Meanwhile FBI IG have finalized the report and no evidence of Trump claim of witch-hunt. Some small errors were made but really Trump assertion of deep state were completely exonerated. The parallel investigation by Durham is still ongoing so really a nothing burger for now.

If only Trump had such a vocabulary, he might be taken more seriously. His IQ of 96 always seems to work against him.

The left seems to take him much more seriously than the right.

To the right, any way you look at it, he’s far better than the alternative.

To the left, he’s (apparently) the end of the world. Seems pretty serious to me, no?

Not a shred of proof in your post, either.  Hypocritical since you claim no proof of Ukrainian 2016 election interference?  Fact is, there is proof of Ukrainian interference.

Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire

There's more than just that article.

Shocking how so many posters have zero clue as to what they're talking about.

The subject of the article is much more complex than the way you present it (and is well explained in the article). In particular, it is worth mentionning that Manafort was associated with the previous pro-Russia government and surely had no friends in the government that followed. Also worth mentioning is that Manafort was already under investigation by the FBI in 2014.

Anyway Trump has been very clear in his statements: he was trying to attribute the Russian hacking of the DNC system to Ukraine with his ridiculous Crowdstrike conspiracy theory, instead of Russia.
