I am posting here because I have not found a similar forum for Laos so there may be members here who have experiences in the Laos Thailand area. I'm an American and my biological child was born in Laos. The child is an American citizen upon birth and common law marriage similar to my home state here in the United States. With other children the mother does not wish to immigrate but I want my child to receive education in the USA and of course his mother desires this too. I've seen some web pages that discuss step children entering the USA from other countries but this child is not a step child via marriage. Any help on the process and problems would be appreciated. It's not adoption and not step children. Biological child to myself and his Laotian mother. Thank you.
