VIDEO: Angry British tourist PUNCHES Thai man on MRT

Screenshot 2020-01-14 at 19.20.06.png

This is the shocking moment a British tourist punches a Thai man in the face after he knocked his iPhone out of his hand.

The incident occured on Sunday at Wat Mangkorn station when the Thai man reportedly bumped into the British man, resulting in his iPhone 11 falling to the floor.

Despite apologising, the British man still attacks the Thai man in front of stunned passengers.

Other passengers, along with a man who appeared to be with the British man then tried to calm the situation. Someone can be heard saying “mate, take it easy”.

The person who filmed the incident told Mail Online the British man followed the Thai man off the train and confronted him on the platform.

It is not known if the police are investigating the incident.

I hope Thais understand that not all farangs behave like him and not all farangs behave like this British man. Otherwise living in Thailand will become even more difficult for the rest of the western people as understandably Thais can be quite upset of these type of incidents.

It took place on 13/01/20 and was originally posted on Red Skull-addict's Facebook page with Thais commenting there

Tuff Guy,

someone ought to put him on his <deleted>

The Brit was completely out of order. For all the petty stuff some foreigners get lifted for, this degenerate needs to be hauled in and seriously taught some manners.

Sad to see this

A quality tourist for sure. I guess he is always complaining about the rude Chinese and Indian tourists.

Disgusting and sadly reflects/tarnishes on every "farang" here.

That's a pretty clear video and with the facial recognition software they have it shouldnt be too difficult for immigration/Police to track this guy down and deport him. (hopefully).

Watched it twice and didn't see a phone hit the floor, anyone bend to pick it up or a punch thrown. , only an attempted grab. HOWEVER, the Thai looked like a kid or young teenager. Credit to the guy in the yellow polo shirt for keeping him out of harm's way.

Recently we've read (and seen) gangs of Thais knocking seven bells out of a Yank and a Paddy. This guy deserved the same in my opinion.

Deport the pr*ck, scum like this should not be allowed out of the UK.

I was expecting an aggressive Thai, but the Thai guy appeared (who knows the backstory, if there is one) submissive and there is no need to attack a guy not willing to fight.

NOBODY will remember it was a Brit.  They all know farangs from every country has gotten in trouble, and it's impossible to remember them all.

unless a farang shot that kid.  Then it won't be forgotten.

I would love to blame the pollution, since it does cause aggressive behavior, but I've been on that rant long enough.

Just like farangs tar all Thais with the same brush, the reverse will also happen.
Maybe some here will start to understand why they feel they are not welcomed.
I’m yet to see the despised Chinese and Indians behaving like this.

No they won’t, just like us Westerners, Thai’s are not stupid and they don’t judge us all by the actions of an idiotic minority... Its on the stupid Thai’s and stupid Westerns who tar the other with the same brush...

It is for this reason that Thailand remains a pleasant place to live. In my day to day dealings I am treated very well and not tarred with the same brush as the drunks, sex-pests and uneducated morons who reach the social media in such videos.

Equally so, neither I, or any other Westerner I know, tar all Thai’s with the same brush... i.e. I don’t assume all women are hookers or easy, I don’t assume all Thai men are lying thieving rip off artists because so many Taxi’s try to rip me off... etc etc etc...

Generalisation's exist for a reason, but most people recognise that not everyone fits the generalization.

This guy [in the video] is a tool. We’ll here news in a few days of how the Police have found him. It always amazes me how through social media the police suddenly become capable of action ! - now, there’s a generalisation for you ‘Police  being lazy and only responding to an incident if it suits their interests’ !

Sounds a bit strange, are we sure the Thai kid wasn't a pickpocket?

Which would explain the action and anger.

(Kid lifts phone from Brit's pocket, Brit feels it going and swings a punch, kid drops phone in scuffle)

You wouldn’t of done anything as you would of been too busy looking at your phone typing on websites how much of a tough guy you are . Guy sounds like a bogan to me anyway

Oh please, you have become so Thai yourself to think black and white? Head or tail? Comparing some incident like this with someone that complains?

Going at this rate, he's a disaster waiting to happen.

Hats off to the guy in the yellow shirt for smartly helping in defusing the situation.

Sounds right to me and the guy does not look Thai . It’s funny how everyone jumps to conclusions and condemn the foreigner right away .

We have our first ‘black-belted keyboard warrior’ of 2020....

Way to go you beautiful big kick-as$ hard man Knight of the Realm you, Sir Charles...

WE don't know the ins and outs and probably never will. What are the BIB going to get him for? Looking aggressive?

Take a look at the Chinese and Indian related posts in this forum. Westerns are very good in generalization: Chinese only come in groups, spend no money and are rude, Indians are only drinking one coke with 5 straws. Only western tourists are what the country needs.

There's a host of news stories about Cambodian and Chinese pickpocket gangs targeting foreign tourists in Bangkok at the moment. The guy was small for a Thai, could easily have been Chinese.

Good to know, but why assume that the little guy is a pickpocket, honestly, he doesn't look like.

The foreigner, on the other hand, looks homicidal.
