Hi all. I've been living here a number of years now and feel like I've been pushing my luck by never having had proper health insurance, so am now looking into options. I'm mid-30s and don't have any pressing medical issues (that I'm aware of) so the main point would be to cover for anything unexpected like accidents or sudden serious illness, where the hospital bills would stack up quickly.

Have tried looking into this online but with so many companies and brokers all pushing their own products (understandably), I can't get a clear picture or comparison. If anyone has any advice or guidance it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Work through a broker. They will provide comparison charts, help you select, and later help with claims.

At your age you have a wide range of options.

International Expat policy is usually preferrable to a Thai issued policy. The Thai regulatory environment is very weak and allows things like raising rates on an individual basis if you have a large claim.
