Also for what it is worth Trump has shown himself to be more than a mere threat to the old ways of doing things the dems so vehemently try to protect.

Like his honesty? Integrity? Respect? Those threats are ones I personally cherish and he is opposite of them in so many ways.

No. Nor would I be happy with a President that used his office and power to coerce a young impressionable intern into sexual activities; and then lied about them to the government and on TV when addressing the American people - watch his lips!

But the Democrats apparently have no problem with that. Or with voting not to impeach him on partisan party line.

As with most liberal left political parties, the Democrats are full of hypocrisy and do as we say not as we do mentality. What's worse, they seem to believe this is their right. Which is why they're the real threat to democracy.

The activities of Pelosi, Schiff, Schummer and Biden should all be closely looked at. Wonder what was going on during the Obama years.

Are you telling us she put it in her mouth because the power of the Presidency?

Indeed.

But it was a clear attempt by a foreign power to influence the result of the Brexit referendum by threatening to put any trade discussions at the back of the queue.

As such, he should be fully investigated - and not by the seemingly part of the Democrat party FBI!

It wasnt an election for govt. It was a non binding poll.

Mr Bumble once said that the "law is a ass".

Now it appears that nearly half of the American voting public is just that after electing one.

Worse still, they still can't accept the error of their ways despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

American democracy will survive this hit but will they learn the lessons?

Rooster

You mean instead of choosing socialism I like my tax cut and not being fined for not having insurance and the stock market being up has increased my 401 also the so called Cadillac tax on insurance going away will help my friends still working so maybe you need to worry more about the UK and their high taxes can't carry a gun to protect your self but can get stabbed

I suppose you would like us removed? Re-educated? Banned? Our candidates removed from the ballot? Our districts flooded with illegal immigrants? The voting age lowered to 16 while indoctrinating our children? An end to the electoral college? Non-citizen voting? Trouble indeed.

I don't mean to be rude by my following reply , I am sure most of you are otherwise very nice people, and pretty smart in other subjects, or some of you are too young to know better but.

Re-educated would imply some education on the subject where none exists, This is obvious by the quality of the arguments, and  the ease all your sides  arguments  are defeated, to which your side moves on to a different argument, deflects , or simply reply with a laugh emoji.

I challenge your side to defend any aspect of trump's behaviour and I will handily defeat it with supporting evidence. I am very confident in making this challenge because  what he did is wrong and a danger to our county, there are no two ways about it, all the rest are rationalizations easily defeated.

What need to be done is a difficult proposition,

I had started a very IMO interesting thread on the dangers of Democracy Which IMO is a very bad form of government, except for all the rest. I believe that some short of basic qualifications for voting need to be applied but then you have the danger of who determines the qualifications and how they are applied. I am sure such process would be usurped by special interest for their own personal gain. Machiavelli's The Prince  is interesting reading.  But you can't have someone who knows very  little about a subject vote on it, for obvious reasons and predictable results.  If someone cant even locate a particular country on the map , and knows nothing about it, said person should not have an opinion, again for obvious reasons.

You perfectly understand. You are just deflecting. There was no investigation into Biden's son and Biden applied an official US policy, just likenthe EU or the IMF applied the same policy.

I never said any investigation into Biden's son occurred. Given Biden's openly bragging about extorting Ukraine, that's precisely the problem. So no, I don't understand. I really don't. And what am I deflecting from anyway?

But let's explore the "official US policy" angle. Regarding foreign affairs, who decides "official US policy"?

Maybe you should do some more research and I don't mean watching CNN. There are quite a few reports coming out about Biden and his whole crooked family.

And yet, 97% of all Republicans voted for Trump in the Iowa Caucuses.  Looks to me as if the "Donald" is doing just fine.

Probably because they think they are in Kansas!!!

Dumb as a bag of rocks........so Republicans support a compulsive liar, a cheat, a fraud, a misogynist, an adulterer and someone who is plainly stupid. What does that say????

Got to be the worst US president ever.
