Sanook reported that two randy King Cobras were getting it on in a durian plantation in Surat Thani in southern Thailand.

The serpents' sizzling sexual embrace leading up to Valentine's Day attracted the attention of 20 passersby after plantation owner Surasak, 72, whipped out his phone to record proceedings.

"It made something go up, I can tell you," he said. "The hair on the back of my neck".

Everyone agreed that it was a rare sight to behold.

Especially as the cobras were making out for a staggering three hours.

A video showed just 5 minutes of the romance that occurred in the evening a couple of days ago in Ban Sin Khun, Surat Thani province.

As snakes have two penises it most cause some confusion for their partners.

This is actually two males fighting for territory/mates. It's not a male/female pair mating. Mating behaviour is much less active. It lasts longer but for the most part they just sit there motionless.
