Hello,

Ive looked through the sticky and cant find exact instructions on the process of obtaining the 12 month extension on my current 90 day Non Immigration O Spouse Support Visa. I am an American citizen and I live in Bangkok.

I want to be as prepared as possible, so can you please provide me with the appropiate links and all relevent information and details on the documents required of myself and my spouse.

Also, I have one worry: I make my money through some online companies which I own that have nothing to do with Thailand, however, I am afraid that the Thai Authorities may try and tax my income because I am working from Thailand. Are there any stories of this happening? I just want to be on the safe side and make sure this wont happen.

Thank you very much.

A link to the official rules are in this pinned topic. Use the link for Thai Police Order 606/2549. Paragraph 7.17, clause (6) applies to your situation.

If the required 40,000 Baht monthly income is earned abroad, Immigration wants to see a certified letter from your embassy and supporting documents for the income.
