April 7, 200718 yr No. I just tried google from both the search bar at the top right hand and the search page and had no problem. I am on Maxnet DSL
April 7, 200718 yr It just worked for me, in Chiang Mai, using both FireFox and IE. Of course, youtube (owned by Google) should be blocked - no further comments about that, please.
April 7, 200718 yr Author To add:- True ADSL [1mb 55555 ] Bangkok {CBD} OpenDNS Added Tested this on two systems, one a WiFi connexion. Both exhibit same problem and IE7 has the issue as well. Regards
April 7, 200718 yr These blocks last 30-60min and happens when a lot of queries are coming from a single IP address (Thai proxy?). Try a different Google, like http://www.google.ca/ google.co.th of for a half hour or so use http://www.altavista.com/
April 7, 200718 yr Author Thanks for that, curiously enough it's now OK, but the advice is most welcome since this is an intermittent irritant, another long vac problem I guess. Regards
