Alcohol-based hand sanitisers declared a controlled product

This will make no difference especially for farang that really have no way to report.

Finally found a tiny bottle of alcohol for cleaning my ears, face. Should be 7b she wanted 20b.

Another sign, no idea could be industrial alcohol: 100ml for 120b that's just crazy. Ml for ml more expensive than decent scotch.

Just use soap.

Alcohol-based hand sanitisers declared a controlled product.
What use has the declaration if you cannot get it?
We have been trying to buy a bottle for a week.
Everywhere: No have.

If you rub the gel into your hands and then rub the bottle with your wet hands, there is a disinfectant effect.

but having just tried it the gel evaporates off quickly and you don't smother the bottle to clean it. Maybe moral to the story is sanitize the bottle also at the same time

I reckon local white grain liquor in a spray bottle prolly better than nothing if all the stuff in the pharmacies has sold out

No it has to be at least 70% grain liquor would be nearer 40.

Today I clipped my 1000 baht banknotes on the clothesline to dry and disinfect them in the sun.
Funny. Many Thai girls went by, smiled and shouted: Hello handsome man

great suggestion! thanks.

did you learn about corona virus at school?

No, I graduated well before it kicked off (but you knew this already).

But viruses and how they react to the liberal use of alcohol-based cleansers isn't exactly the weird science that you appear to think it is.

PS. The key word is 'liberal'

i have a problem with these hand sanitizers you carry around. Say you have Corona virus on your hand after touching something, you get your gel out and clean your hands, virus free but no, the hand sanitizer has been touched by Corona so it's still there when you put it away and back on your hand

I wear these when out ... and throw them after use.

I'm in a low risk age group 50 with none of the existing risky conditions so I'm quite relaxed. I'd be worried if 60+ and even more so with any of the conditions, even more worried if in Cambodia especially siem reap

you're missing the point about the container, no one has mentioned before about sanitizing the container

when i return to the house i have 10% Dettol concentrate mixed with 90% water in an old Mr Muscle spray bottle.

i ordered five bottles of hand sanitizers about a week ago on Lazada. Two are in the scooter now.

stocked up on paper towels, disposable gloves, Kleenex, and Dettol concentrate and drinking water again yesterday.

keeping 60 liters of water as a minimum.

this is just all for cosplay of course. Zombie Apocalypse Nurses return from Korea.  and all this stuff will be used up over time anyway.

I bet you gave your new 'Hello Kitty' cushion a thorough spray with Dettol,,,,,,

i have loads of these but if i used them I'd probably still touch my face so i don't see a benefit. Washing hands is best before touching things
