Tantamount to someone with HIV spitting on you.

Tantamount to nothing like HIV, you can not get HIV from kissing. Coronavirus is more like the flu but with lower death rate. Italy has it more than anywhere in Europe, my guess is that their way of greeting is a handshake and kisses which guarantee the bad outcomes.

Why is THAI still flying to China when most other airlines in the region and internationally have stopped their China flights? Even Lao Airlines has stopped flying to China. The national airline of a country even more dependent on China than Thailand. All China bound flights out of Vietnam have stopped. Qantas has stopped it's Sydney-Shanghai flights and reduced frequency on the Hong Kong flights. USA-China flights are mostly suspended.

But not Thailand? Gosh...words escape me.

MONEY !!!!!!!!

These things seem to happen quite often. Why can’t they just move everybody off the plane into a secure area with toilets? Stupidity. A planes toilets will quickly back up and food and drink will run out. It seems some airports are run by morons. Seven hours locked in a cigar tube.....ridiculous.

I am sure Thai Air would like nothing better than to disembark their passengers and proceed to their next destination.

If what you suggest was not happening there must had being a reason.

I am sure the pilot crew must had explored all available options. You don't become an airline pilot by being stupid.

I realise sitting in a plane for seven hours can be very stressful, but not only for the passengers. I am sure it is no walk in the park for the crew also, and very costly for the airline.

The passenger's behaviour was unreasonable  and inexcusable.

but seven hours? could you imagine?

English at :21 "careful or we are going to be next."

Note to self: cancel all flight plans and create local travel itinerary via the family car.

It was claimed that the plane had landed at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai but passengers were forced to remain in the plane for seven hours as a result of tighter screening procedures in place at the airport.

Now that's what one can say ,Absolutely plain Stupid to have people wait for Seven Hrs. They should have their screening better together than that. I would've got off the plane after 30 min ,no matter What.

It shows you how myopic the Thai Tourism Authority is. They look solely at number of people entering the Kingdom and say that the Chinese are the most desirable. ANYONE, that is in the tourism industry knows that the vast majority are in tour groups, that go to Chinese owned hotels, get bused by Chinese owned tour guides and dine in Chinese owned restaurants. Very little of that $ is making its way to the local Thai economy. Ask ANY small business owner how may patrons of theirs are Chinese and you will find that on average, very few.

how pathetic has all this become, fighting over toilet rolls, rationing pasta...does anyone actually personally know anyone that has it?

The sheep love "Fear Porn" so that's exactly what the media gives them.  The mass buying of toilet paper triggered by the media is their way of mocking the brainless sheep, the joke is that if the economy shuts down completely then food wont be on the shelves and the sheep wont be eating and if the sheep aren't eating then the sheep aren't s**ting and if the sheep aren't s**ting then why would they need toilet paper.  Of course the economy wont be shutting down though many draconian laws shall be past out of the fear that it will.

behaviour terrible. Making people sit in a plane on a tarmac for 7 hours is inhuman and disgraceful too!

Agreed but, was the airline staff responsible? Hell no! They must have been even more <deleted> to have to be stuck on board babysitting for seven hours! The spitting Chinese woman should have been arrested immediately upon disembarkation.

The enlightened one knows more about covid 19 than he is letting on.

That's why, he can cure it and stop the spread by using his secret BMW scanning equipment at the airport.

Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the new virus, officially named the "sudden acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus type 2 (SARS-CoV-2)", formerly known as COV-19...

It's the little golden things pouring out of an infected cell that it's hijacked the cell replication function by inserting its own DNA in there.

Isn't it beautiful?  ????

I did a 90 min lock in on an Eva flight to Heathrow two weeks ago after 6 Indians got ejected via the back of the plane after 13 hours of coughing and spluttering

Did they eject them en-route?
