Asking for a friend

I want to know as to who is paying for the treatment of covid19 patients in thailand. Both for the confirmed cases as well as " PUI".

Thai hospitals are not cheap as far as I know.

It is a shame that in 2020 the health care system is not completely free, a real madness that could only arise in the United States.

Nothing is free in this world. When you get something for free it means another man has paid for it.

i understood that if you contribute to the social security (ie the amount deducted from you payslip) you are covered.

Is it not the case?

And as the question has been answered, thread is closed.

Free for Thais, foreigners if not covered by insurance or SS must pay. Same as for all medical.
