It's a term being bandied about now as part of a new vocabulary since the outbreak, lockdown, exponential, social distancing, surface contamination,and the worst of all, zoonotic. A lockdown is when no-one goes anywhere, ever in a certain area like they did in Wuhan. One person out for shopping every two days for two hours, and the rest within their living quarters permanently until they're told they can go out. My wife told me the doctor who has been treating her for a nail wound told her that COVID-19 is all over Thailand and they plan on locking down Thailand no one is going to be allowed to go out of their houses, they will be brought food when needed. This is just 1 step while still letting people move around a little, until it becomes like Italy or China. We had 2 cases on Feb 25, today we have about 1000. Country is in lockdown, part in quarantine. Vienna airport is about to close. Borders are closed for private travel.
