Deputy Agriculture Minister Thammanat Phromphao on Monday (March 16) posted on his Facebook page that he had tested negative for Covid-19 after getting examined at Rama IX Hospital.

Thammanas decided to take the test after he and a group of followers had visited Wat Phra That Phanom in Nakhon Phanom province on March 12, and a person infected with Covid-19 claimed he had visited the place just a day earlier.

“My team and I will remain in self-quarantine at home for 14 days as a precaution,” he said. “I would like to thank you all for the support, and believe that we will overcome this crisis together.”

Meanwhile, Nakhon Phanom Governor Siam Sirimongkhol said on the same day that he was coordinating with Public Health Ministry officials to track down all persons who had visited the temple on March 11-12. He had also contacted the hotel where the infected person had stayed during his visit.

“The hotel will be closed for four days for cleaning and disinfecting,” he said. “The Phra That Phanom pagoda and surrounding areas will also be closed to all tourists until further notice.”

Well, what do you know; dealing with flour keeps the Corona/Covid19 virus away.

I, however, cannot afford the THB 30 (for Thais) test as I would be asked to shell out THB 10'000. I of course understand that because somebody has to pay for the three submarines-in-waiting.

Pathetic squarehead!

Have you seen... his movie ?

He was in his home, sport room and with sport clothes...

And he was doing HULA HOOP, while speaking to the camera. ????

I'm not joking.

It was a nightmare.

The convicted international drug trafficker... showing his hip moves...

So excited, so happy to smile and to speak on camera, about the virus, and the fact that he has been tested.

To be tested is the new black now in Bangkok, among influential people....

For a thai official, to steal public money in order to buy 28753 Porsche or BMW or to deal drugs... is not sanook anymore, not exciting.

But to be tested for Wuhan Flu Virus (for the cheap price of 25 000 THB at BKK Hospital)... Now we are talking. ????

If you pay 10K you went to the wrong hospital.

why would you reprint this non news when there is so much more important items to report? wow

I disagree.

It looks ridiculous , circumstantial, anecdotal.

But it's an important piece of data... if you want to truely understand how this country is working, thinking, and seeing itself !
