Ittaporn Kanacharoen, secreteray general of the Medical Council of Thailand, is leading a campaign against the spread of Covid-19 outbreak.

It is necessary to give accurate information on how to properly deal with the virus, given the torrent of misinformation on the platform , he said.

He team has launched an info graphics entitled “Social Distance : What does it mean?”

It describes social distance as a practice of avoiding close contact between people to reduce the risk of being infected .

It advises people to avoid social gatherings, sport events and crowded malls.

The team has also made a short video clip to explain how social distancing could slow the spread of virus and encourage people to share it on social media platforms.

'Check on a friend' and 'check on an elderly neighbour'.

Shouldn't these two points come with some information whether that is done by phone, email, or by visiting and if so what distance for you to stay from them?

We can make fun of it, but finally we have a useful attempt to educate people about how to avoid the virus. The only criticism I have is that those funny lights at the top of the first image may confuse people as few here would know their meaning.

My exact thoughts as well - in English for the dirty "westerners". Is there  a THAI version for "dirty" Thais (those who do not wear face masks).
