Time Line Of Virus Progression Expressed as a Function of Film Subjects.

We have a lot of time on our hands so here is a list of films I came up with that should give everybody a clear view ahead. :clap2:

The first film you should watch is the brilliant 1971 version of The Andromeda Strain. Just so you know how bad this could have really been. So count your lucky stars. This is not on the time line. Yet.

Then Contagion. Steven Soderbergh's ultra realistic film of how a fictional virus does it's thing. On the time line we are about 50% through this film right now.

Next The Martian. In order to do quarantine properly. A great study in having to make do with what you got. The world is maybe 10% through this film now.

OK then Margin Call. The story takes place over a 24-hour period during the initial stages of the financial crisis of 2007-2008. We are 30% into this film now

The Big Short.  While the circumstances are different now than the original subject of this film, it sets the mood for a possible new wall street train wreck to be explored. please dear god lets hope we are at least 50% through this film on the time line right now.

The Year of Living Dangerously. Substitute Thailand. I am thinking 15% into the film now. No comments please on the content of this film. I am portrayed by Mr Gibson.

No Escape. No Escape is set in an anonymous South East Asia country. I think we are about 20% into this film now.  Pierce is in this film. I look a lot like him. :clap2:

Then depending on how things go:

The Wolf of Wall Street. We are 0% through this film on the time line right now. Lets hope wall street comes roaring back. We shall see.

or The Grapes of Wrath. Some people are unfortunately 5% through this film on the time line right now. I am not a big fan of this film. Commie propaganda. But it does paint a good worst case scenario.

And last and the most unlikely :shock1: outcome is the original and most realistic of the series Mad Max. Some people may feel we are watching the opening credits now.  :clap2:

anyway you may have your own suggestion for a film and our place on the time line and since we have 18 months of this to go we have plenty of time to watch them all.

and remember:

The Big Short is a fantastic movie. Adam McKay is a great Director although he should team up with Will Ferrell more often.

Lol, my father took me to this film when I was 12 in Spain. They had double bills and he didn't know this was the second showing. My mother freaked out and my father had to hold his hand over my face for the whole film.

Happy times.

Another good anime film for adults is 5 Centimeters per Second.

Japanese emotionalism at its best.
