Popular Post WineOh
These tests must be a real money spinner for the health ministry (last i heard they were charging 7,000 baht a pop). if they really cared they would make them free to all at the point of use. I agree. the fact they are still requiring us to 90 day report is a deadly disgrace. 23 5

sahibji
this may be a case of too little too late as infections would have spread far and wide by now. hope the tests will be free; otherwise many may not forthcoming to spend a big sum of money for the test.

Popular Post mannytoba
Stay put and make your personal space safe. The Bangkok shutdown exodus has eliminated any chance of Thailand containment. Two weeks and the country will be a blanket of Covid19 Bacteria. Masks are pointless....wash them hands. 5 1

Popular Post SiSePuede419
A test is good, but it's not a vaccine. You could theoretically catch the virus on the way home from a negative test result. ????

Testing is superfluous as will not show anything until you are symptomatic. Ever had the flu? Most anyone who has knows when they are getting sick; fever, chills, sore throat, etc... you feel like <deleted> Many Thais would not show up for a CV test even if it was free. Many Thais will not go to the hospital when sick. Possibly: Go find all these people by using military /police/whatever sources available. Then forced quarantine for those symptomatic

Don't know many Thais, just ex and her family. Time is money, government hospitals crowded, just a cold, will get better are some excuses I heard in the past. Mother used to visit local clinics and witch doctors (i called them) for cheap magical pills and serums that never helped much (likely just vitamins) Maybe a special massage, head, neck, back etc... Local pharmacies with old family trusted owners suggesting their wares as cures also acceptable many times. Herbs to make into tea, etc... They do love tea.
