The Deputy Minister of Social Development and Human Security asked travelers to assist authorities by reporting suspicious incidents during the Songkran Festival.

The Deputy Minister of Social Development and Human Security, MD Poldech Pinprateep (พลเดช ปิ่นประทีป), addressed concerns that violent incidents may occur during the Songkran holidays in a similar manner to the Bangkok and NOnthaburi bombings during the New Year. MD Poldech assured citizens that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and internal security agencies are working hard to ensure safety.

The Deputy Minister of Social Development and Human Security asked members of the public and tourist to act as the eyes and ears of authorities and to report any suspicious activities during the Songkran holidays.
