So what would you be saying if it was your child or family member in need of a hospital bed or a ventilator.... and instead, the hospital wheeled in Boris, and told you, "sorry, no space at the inn"?

He is staying at home in a flat at the top of number 10 and 11. Like most people he has mild symptoms and will recover.

There really are some who are like doombsday preppers think the worst and run for the hills at the slightest trouble.

He will be fine and recover like the vast majority.

I believe in the UK, if you are over 50 and on a ventilator, you will be taken off it if a person under 50 with no pre conditions needs it.  Could that happen to Boris.

Of course not

You may  have a  good  chance of  survival if the theory that hot air is a Covid  killer  holds   true !

The hot air theory seems unlikely to be true as the virus is prevalent in countries like Thailand and Singapore with hot air throughout the year.

How is that fact addressed by this theory? (I'm asking without sarcasm here)

we are so well trained and conditioned..

just because we're virtually gagged doesn't mean we're well trained or conditioned.

I too have a Johnny Rotten in me but this is 2020 not 1978

Along with a cough and fever experts have now found that people with weird hairstyles are

30%  more at risk to contract the virus.  A rush to the department stores has left hairnets

in short supply.

The heir to the throne & PM quite rightly have priority in much the same manner George VI & Churchill did in the past.

So what if he did? He is the leader of economic and military superpower, for crying out loud.

Oh, I thought he was head of the British government?

You know the country where the health service tweets for help from DIY stores because the government can't provide the desperately needed resources.

The country where nurses wrap in binliners.

I didn't realise the UK was such an economic superpower. Must be nice. So not "living of the kindness of strangers" like your former Governor of the Bank of England said, then. Interesting...

It appears Germany is having problems with shortage of medical gear

Fair enough......so why not say that as opposed to coming out with bulls.hit excuses and denials.
That’s one of the problems, people arent stupid, they know the reasons., but when they come out with the next set of stats and guidelines they will just think it’s another piece of bull and don’t take notice. You know, like social distancing.

Another Johnson has got it. Please Boris stop this herd stuff and start distancing.

Boris Johnson's sister-in-law has tonight said she has also tested positive for Covid-19.

Gabriela Maia, who is married to Boris's financier half-brother, Max, said she is "still recovering from the virus with some respiratory difficulties".

Thanks, looks like the delivery will be phased over a period of time. Imagine, the government not giving an answer to an MP enquiry. This is where we can learn from the UK, which is much more transparent. Germany is basically a banana republic in this regard, the government do whatever they want. We've seen this when Heiko Maas basically fired a judge because he had the temerity to conduct an enquiry he disagreed with. With the Network enforcement law Germany is basicaly censoring the internet like China.
