March 28, 20205 yr I have a post operative problem from a Urethra Stricture. I need to self dilate every 6 days and need to buy some flexible catheters but haven't been able to locate in Thailand. I'm told it is not easy to get supply from abroad because Thai customs say only hospital can order. Any advice or info please.

March 28, 20205 yr Most urinary catheters here are latex rubber foley catheters. If you can make do with that, medical supply stores/larger pharmacies should have. But assuming you need the stiffer PVC, you will probably have to go to a hospital and see a urologist. Where in Thailand are you?
March 28, 20205 yr Author Thanks. I am outside Khon Kaen. Been doing self dilation for over a year now, It's a piece of cake and no problem, proviiding you have the catheter.
March 28, 20205 yr Try at either Sirnagarind Hosp (KKU univ) or Bangkok Khon Kaen Hosp. Given the COVID issue and crowding, these days latter is preferrable but will cost more.
