Someone sent it to me. Lots of misinformation so I want to be sure.

OK, fair enough. Well yes it's true. Some folks have actually tried to do a 90 day report and been told to 'go away'. So relax.

Is this true? Sorry if it was covered already.

Covered multiple times. xxx posts about it.

And know what? I did the report whatsoever.

Offices are empty as never seen.

And what still is uncertain: what will happen after April 30?

Extension of the exemption? And what after that? All to the report please or just skip and do after the next 90 days?

The  Immigration Bureau announcement is based on clause 2(2) of the Notification of the Ministry of Interior dated 7 April 2020. The original Thai text was published in the Government Gazette.

As per Immigration Notification :- Aliens who are due for 90 days reports between 26th of March 2020 and 30th of April 2020 are temporarily exempted from reporting in this period until further notice (https://www.immigration.go.th/read?content_id=5e8dd512396bd30c67009c35)

1) "Until Further Notice" mean What will be the new approx Date ...

2) How the applicant will get this new date Information...

The ministerial order it tied to the emergency decree. When the emergency decree is extended before the 30th everything under the order will also be extended.

Only section 3 for border pass holders (tied to the borders opening to be precise)

Section 2 is not tied to anything specific, the automatic permissions end on 30th April, unless they issue a new order specifically extending this limit.

Did mine today in Hua hin.  Wanted to go before the rush at the end of the month. Took all of 10 minutes.  Immigration was almost empty because everyone thinks it is better to wait until the last days before this free extension are up.
