Nakhon Si Thammarat Siriphat Phatthakun said on Tuesday (April 14) that six new Covid-19 patients, one of whom has succumbed to the virus, have been found in Bang Khan district.

All six are closely related, though the other 22 people who were in contact with the patients were found to be free of the virus.

“Still, the 22 people have been ordered to isolate themselves for 14 days,” he added.

The governor also ordered the chief of Bang Khan district to close all access to the Moo 7 village where the six patients were found.
