This has been going on for quite a while but thought I would finally ask the question as curious........

 

In the twice daily newsletters the fixed ads that appear above the selected forum threads and before the forum news items are often (and increasingly) mainly with Chinese (or other country script) titles - needless to say I don't actually bother to click on them...

 

Is this intentional?

Thanks for reporting this problem, there is no immediate answer but this will be passed on for further investigation.

In Pattaya on True fibre. This was not using a VPN and no special DNS settings.

I use the Brave browser so don't really see any adverts on the site......

 

I looked back in deleted folder and here is one from 22nd March - a couple of others just before it were all in English.

I still see ads in Chinese/Korean but today using a VPN to the UK I now have them in French - from this afternoons newsletter........

I have noticed that a lot of the fixed recent ads although in English seem to be very much about stuff in Singapore by the way. As mentioned also before not an issue for me.
