BANGKOK (NNT) - The Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) has reported that the COVID-19 pandemic is having positive effects on the natural ecosystem, as it provides time for many tourist destinations to recover. The amount of garbage, including discarded face masks and plastic waste however, has increased exponentially.

BANGKOK (NNT) - Today is the first day during which Thai nationals abroad, can return to Thailand using border crossings into 21 provinces, after the recent temporary closure to control the spread of COVID-19. Chiang Mai Governor prohibits people from land rotation farming in huge burnt area

CHIANG MAI (NNT) - The Governor of Chiang Mai has decreed that land rotation farming must not be carried out in more than 20,000 burnt areas and that such farming areas must not be expanded or the violators will be strictly prosecuted.
