on line 90 day report

Featured Replies

attemped to do 90 day report online and told to contact immigration.

my report is due on may 7th.

today is 15days before.

do i still need to do 90day report with new extensions rules??

Try again later. You were on the edge of the 15 day before your report date window. You can do your online report up to the day your report is due now.

Double check you entered all the info correctly. You only need to complete the fields marked with a red asterick beside it.

Common errors are not selecting you nationality using the drop down menu and not putting all of the TM6 card number (for example AB12345).

If you cannot do it then you do not need to worry about doing one until after July 31st since the requirment to do them is suspended until then.

My report window is also starting today and it is returning the same message - to report to immigration.

Online reporting has never worked for me, have always got this message and have to report in person.

A trouble-shooting guide when encountering problems trying to do your 90-day reporting on-line.

= = = = =

Link to access the 90-day on-line reporting site:

The website also allows you to download a very comprehensive Guideline document on how to file your 90-day report on-line.  The Guideline is mostly in thai (with some english pages too) and contains screen-shots of all the steps and possible options.  But actually you do not need it, as the website - in contrast with the TM30 one - is really easy to use.

The link for the mobile app is here:

You can also file your 90-day reports by mail.

Use the address of you local immigration office if not in Bangkok.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING
> Stuck at Opening Page

You have to scroll the center window with the Terms&Conditions text to the very bottom, and then click the '*I have read and fully understand the above terms and conditions and agree to accept them' button.
It's only after having done the above, that clicking the 'Accept' button will open next page on the website.

It seems that sometimes clicking Accept/Enter does not bring you to 'Next Page' (there are 4 pages to fill in) and leaves you with a blank page.  In that case you need to click 'refresh' (F5), doing so will actually submit the data when pressing the confirm button does not work.

ERROR-MESSAGE

There are several possible reasons why the error message --For further information regarding The 90 days report service, please contact the immigration branch office in your residence area-- might appear:

0 - There are some local Immigration Offices that do not accept 90-day reports on-line > check with your local IO or enquire on the Forum about your IO

1 - You have not left Thailand for 7 years or longer, and so your old TM-6 arrival/departure card is not in the IO system;

2 - You have a new passport and did not re-enter Thailand since you have that new passport

NOTE: Two recent reports indicated that this possible issue might now be fixed.

3 - You are inputting incorrect data (check O-0 and I-i) or inputted manually where an input from a drop-down box is indicated (e.g. the date of arrival needs to be inputted using the drop-down calendar box);

4 - Your browser or configuration is not fit for the 'picky' IO-software > try using a different browser or doing the report on a different PC (e.g. from a friend or an internet store);

5 - Your internet-address is not recognized (e.g. and AOL.com address) > if so use another e-mail address, e.g. a gmail-account;

6 - The IO servers are too busy on the moment you want to access/upload  > try again later.

7 - You are using a Mac-computer, and so you need to set-up the web browser to work, the process is described in the official User Guide for Notification 90 day (which can be downloaded from the opening page of the 90-day website)

     And of course

8 - The notification has to be done in the period from 15 days BEFORE the 90-day report due date till the actual due date.
> Otherwise you will get the 'Visit your immigration office' message.
It's recommended to mark that period in your calendar for your next 90-day report, as it will save you a trip to IO (in case you are too late, there is a 7-day 'grace' period after the due date for reporting in person at your local IO).

CAVEATS

9 - Please note that when you use the 90-day on-line reporting website it can put you on the wrong foot.
Speaking from personal experience > Having filled in the 4 required web-pages for my 90-day notification, the website immediately displayed an APPROVED notification page.
However, when leaving the website and then re-entering the website to look for my application status it was displayed as PENDING (meaning that is was not approved yet).

10 - When doing your VERY FIRST 90-day report, this has to be done either in person at your local IO or by mail.
You would be able to submit that very first 90-day report on-line, but it's status will not go beyond PENDING and will not be APPROVED as your local IO would not have a record of you having done a 90-day report before.
That's why you need to do the very first one in person or by mail.
By mail you send copies of your passport pages, TM6 departure card and a completed TM47 which would be enough for them to check your subsequent on-line report.

CONCLUSION

>> Having submitted your 90-day report on-line, you need to check the STATUS.  Please note that it can take a couple of hours to a couple of days before the PENDING status is accepted by your local IO and displays as APPROVED.
Clicking the small icon to the right of the row with the APPROVED notification you are then able to print-out both the Notification as well as the Receipt of Notification which displays your next 90-day reporting date (and which you are supposed to keep in your passport as proof that you comply).
Note: When your PENDING status has not been converted into APPROVED status by the due date, you are advised to call or visit your local IO to enquire about the status.  If for one reason or another, your local IO cannot approve your notification, you still have the 7 days 'grace period' after due date (actually it is 6 days after date, as the due date is counted as day 1), to visit your local IO and submit your 90-day report in person.

I can say it was'nt working the beginning of March, but that would be really nice if they finally sorted this out!

Those 2 reports are from 4 days ago, so it seems that since mid April it is possible to do the on-line 90-day report using a new passport without having exited/re-entered Thailand and doing so referring to the TM-6 entry/departure card with which you entered Thailand last time (on your old passport).

Do it later can be down to the hour when your last report was recorded.

Immigration office is Head Office...CW.

On a PC, reporting to immigration through edge and Chrome browsers...does not work.

On mobile apk:

  • Successfully registered details, email and password, received a confirmation email, tried to login with registered email and password and it returned "password or username incorrect"
  • Did a change of password, received the confirmation email with new password, changed the password in the app, received email confirmation that password successfully changed, entered email and the new password and was finally able to access the app and the 90 day reporting function.
  • Filled in the first page of the form and when click next at the bottom there is a pop up that states "must have done an address report already and if not done must report in person to do an address report" (I have done that in person before and done several 90 day reports in person at CW during my current extension of stay) click done on the popup, it disappears and click next at the bottom of the page to proceed and the same useless pop up appears.....cannot get past the first page and this popup.

Now maybe try the good old antiquated postal method which will probably work or use the tried, tested and working waste of time and travel to CW and do a 90 day report in person.

Another thing, on the app and to insert ones DOB, does one really have to click the calendar hundred's of times to go back in history to ones birth date because a forward slash is missing on the mobile telephone keypad? surely they could have designed a better way to type in ones birth date using the actual functions available on telephone keypad.

Until July 31st you do not need to do a 90 day report. They have been suspended since April 7th.

Thanks.

So on August 1st; will all the immigration offices be overwhelmed with the people that need to submit their 90 day reports that are expired? Has Thai immigration figured out how to handle the stampede? Will we be notified when our 90 day report is due?

Up until now, I've been doing mine online with great success. Should I plan to do it August 1st or within 15 days before that?

Thanks for your positive and helpful replies.

I would follow your normal 90 days without bothering about the amnesty. I'm doubtful that the online system will work if you miss the normal 90-day window.

When they decide the ministerial notice is going to end on July 31st they will make announcement stating when 90 day reports are due.

They will certainly not expect everybody to report at the same and then in 90 days a the same time. I could be done by the month your most recent report was due or 90 days from when it was due.

I you can do them online that is OK. But they do not want you to do them in person.

Thanks for all the help given above, especially useful to a first timer doing it online like me.

Woo Hoo

I did it, took 6 or 7 attempts.

Mistakes I made 1. My TM6 card No is QU24771 and the 'Q' is very easily mistaken for an 'O'

                        2. The arrival date of my last entry to Thailand, so easy to get wrong by looking at the wrong stamp in your passport.

                        3. didn't use the drop down menu for date correctly - do not type anything just click the appropiate boxes for the date.

                        4. Use the drop down menu whenever offered it inputting your address.

When u go back to check ur status make sure u print using landscape otherwise the pending part is missing.

A thoroughly rewarding but tedious experience , which as has been said many times, is ultimately a completely pointless timewasting exercise.

All I can say is thank god we don't have to pay anything.

Just enter the DD, the app will insert the /

At least that's how it works for me.

On other Immigration mobile apps one can select the year by scrolling up, then choose the month and day.

So what is the reason for this..

Report submitted to early or late. Error causing it to be sent to the wrong office.

Possibly more but I can't come up with any at this time.

@OneeyedJohn > If you are still in the 15-day till due date window of your on-line 90-day report, you can simply retry.

Yep, report date in my passport shows May 6.

Maybe the Chiang Rai office is one that doesn't accept online, but I don't get why any office should be like that.

That would be pretty annoying.

There are two immigration offices in the province, one in town and one in Maesai, so it is hard to believe they wouldn't accept online.

Do you know what, with all this stupid bureaucracy here, I now find it easier to remember my passport number than my mobile number.

Offices that do not accept them just leave the report as pending.

Try again and be sure you select the correct province, district and tambon on the drop down menus when completing the application. Errors such as that can cause it to to be sent to the wrong office.

I am not certain, but someone suggested to me that is true.
