Well Iran hasn't.....:coffee1:

it's likely back channel communications between the parties will eventually get aired. As we've learnt from history back channels paint a different picture to what is presented for public consumption at the time of tensions.

Iran asked for like a couple dozen of USD million in aid due to corona but threatens for war, they can not even afford ammo for longer than a week lol.
They just knew Trump would reply, sorry dude we have social distancing going on now but I can send a drone if you like.

America has a long offensive history against Iran. The best thing now would be for Trump to declare some kind of fake victory then drop all sanctions against Iran and initiate a movement to full diplomatic relations, based on one condition. The declaration of Israel right to exist. America made a bad decision from the 80s siding with the Saudis, we should have gone with the Shiites.

I can only imagine the carnage the Iranians would inflict on the US navy!????????????????????

how can trump sleep with these ultimatums?

Saddam showed his military fury, thought the US would have learned! ????

Perhaps it's time to bitch-slap Iran.

Iraq and Saddam Hussein are one thing But Iran is a different matter.

Iraq was defeated NOT by the USA alone though Trump might think so.

They were defeated by an alliance of NATO members and an alliance of middle east countries, probably Israel was lurking around as well. The support bases were built up in Saudi Arabia over a period of at least 6 months and al the forces were acclimatised as well.

Iran is a physically different country from Iraq and its troops are a lot tougher and while it lacks the sophisticated equipment which the USA has, the USA will not have as many allies as before, certainly from the west.

Unless the US has built its support bases up in SA, Kuwait, and the Gulf countries and is relying on them for support they will have a huge logistics problem. The B1 bomber is now down to about 10% of its original force as they are worn out and lack spares.

Putting a carrier group inside the Gulf is a bad plan as there are a lot of ships and not much room to maneuver in shallow waters.

If the Iranians and the US do go to war and the USA wins (as they probably will) the costs will be high in materials and manpower. Then having won will the US garrison Iran?

That will be very expensive in money and manpower.

Even now after a couple of decades There are still US troops in Iraq and even in Afghanistan.

Starting a war is easy, winning the war is a lot harder but winning the peace is almost impossible.

Just wait until the body bags start coming home.

Luckily not old enough to become very bitter and sensitive over dry humor jokes on subjects like these.

I just wonder how the US would respond if Iran would send warships close to the USA.

Russia is already doing that..... Read the news.....
