Chuti Krairiksh - the social development and human security minister - went to Lumpini Park in Bangkok yesterday after a build up of homeless and jobless people in the area.

Chuti agreed to work with around 50 taxi drivers who have offered to ferry the homeless to the Mit Maitree Home.

He said there was plenty of capacity to look after those who needed help.

There are currently 153 people being looked after there.
