Uzbek man arrested at Phuket Airport
Nice elaborate. And it took days to write. I'm pleased, indeed. What I learned is you try to find excuses to use an agent by drifting into illegality. Not my cup of tea. But if you like it... it's up to you. -

Pattaya Tourist Police Prepare Safety Measures for Tourists During High Season in Thailand
If you regard "safety" in this case as a euphemism for "extortion", then suddenly the seasonality thing makes sense... -

See a urologist. It could be a bladder issue and the longer you wait, the worse it might get. -

Bank account requirements post retirement visa extension
Can't speak to what Bangkok Immigration requires but I've always understood that the requirements (certainly in Chiangmai) were the 800k had to be in the account for 2 months prior to the application date (meaning date you get your annual extension, not the date your new annual extension starts), for 3 months after that application date, and 400k for all other times. Edit: Posted this at same time as DrJack. -

Doctors expensive
Blood tests are free in Australia under Medicare ...I get one every month and never been questioned yet why. You must be paying "private" companies to test your blood? And ..where I live in Australia I use Medicare doctors which charge the Government not me .- 1

BYD Seal tips, tricks and help
Between approximately 50% and 80% a lithium iron cell has almost a flat voltage, so it’s very difficult for the BMS to tell what the state of charge is in that range, the purpose of taking it up to 100% is to record that significant 100% voltage peak and know that the batteries fully charged so it can recalculate the SoC. I think the purpose of taking it below 10% is for it to be able to calculate the capacity of the battery pack, which probably happens as you recharge it, it counts the coulombs going into the pack and knows the capacity and state of health.
