PHUKET: Phuket Governor Phakaphong Tavipatana has announced that if Cabinet approves, the “Tambon Lockdown” restrictions may be eased, with all travel between “non-red subdistricts” allowed.

7 new cases in Phuket today, total 214 (Tuesday)

There has been 7 new cases announced in Phuket today. The island has had the highest, per capita, number of reported cases in Thailand. 5 more people been allowed to return home in the past 24 hours, 39 remain in hospital under treatment with 2 in a critical condition. 127 people remain as ‘high risk personnel’ and are under observation.

Thailand reports single digit COVID-19 cases for second consecutive day

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand on Tuesday reported seven more coronavirus cases and two new deaths, bringing the total number of infections since the outbreak began in January to 2,938 cases and 54 fatalities.

Emergency extended for one more month, night curfew to remain

The Cabinet today resolved to extend the State of Emergency by another month starting May 1, in a move to prevent Covid-19 from spreading further, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said today (April 28).

Department advises people on using public transport

Cabinet okays Bt1,000 handout to disabled people
