The airport’s general manager, Flying Officer Sumpun Kutranon said the airport has implemented measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 by requiring passengers to only enter the terminal via gates 10 and 14 where temperature screening points have been set up. In addition, passengers are required to wear a face mask and maintain a metre’s distance from each other while queuing to check in, hand in the baggage and to board the plane. Why only 1 metre, when the "safe" distance for social distancing for every other country is 2 metres?!

Thai not need 2 mitta. I went to Tesco Lotus today and they had lines on the floor at one-metre intervals for people to line up for the temperature check. Then I found they had moved the trolleys to one area instead of two even though two entrances to the goods were open (why???). And then at the meat counter the area was packed with people close together choosing their bits of dead animals and birds. They just don't get it, do they. ezzra
Just back from Makro Lad Prau looking at the large number of people inside busing shopping shoulder to shoulder you'd be right to think that Thailand is out in the clear and the virus is defeated.. just comes to show...
