I would suggest you post or look for information on a forum dedicated to ADs or the disorder you are taking them for.  Because one would want to know for what reason you take one drug, what isn’t working, what you are looking for by changing.  Those two drugs are fairly different.  You might not want to post all that here and not get many well informed answers or experienced people to answer.

These two drugs have different mode of action.

Wellbutrin is sometimes added to an SSRI like sertraline . In some cases Wellbutrin is used in addition to an SSRI but there are some potential risks to consider. As for switching all together from an SSRI to an NDRI like Wellbutrin, it is complicated and requires first soiem tapering of the SSRI and there will likely be a "slump" in between before you get stabilized on the new med. It is strongly recommended you not try this on your own, it needs professional advice/supervision.

If you are in or can get to Bangkok this US-trained doctor specializing in mood disorders s highly recommended

Thanks so much for your advice, Sheryl. Yes, I realise from experience SSRI tapering is not something to be trifled with. I’ll check out those links. Good to know there are doctors who specialise with this sort of thing. Usually it’s not really recognised in the ‘Western way’.
