Somnambulist
I've moved into a condo that has a nice and wide flat granite surface atop the balustrade on the veranda. But the birds love it and within a few days it's quite unsightly and sometimes smelly due to their "leavings". So I need those hard plastic spike strips to keep them away. Any idea where I could find such a thing?
northsouthdevide
Why don't you try pinning a decoy above the area suspended on some fishing line. I've seen them about, but I can't think where. Like a plastic flying Eagle. If it works, then you can still lean on your balustrade yourself.
holy cow cm
We have rubber snakes strategically placed around our house gutters and roof. Birds like to nest in the gutters and it creates a huge problem with the rain.

A couple of great ideas so far, and only one dumb, useless comment. Way to go!

Somnambulist
Thank you, Rimmer. I'll go have a look soon. I also need these strips for around the air conditioner's compressor outside. It's their favorite toilet.

Somnambulist
And now I know why the previous tenant left me this in a drawer. Of course it would be insane to actually use it with people in the street nine floors below. lol
