However be under no illusions that the daily confirmed figures mean much of anything , the scale of the lockdown proves that.

Of course you can back up that assertion. Any reference to lockdown is meaningless.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's coronavirus lockdown will be lifted on Saturday, PM Imran Khan said, despite the fact that the number of cases in the country is still accelerating.

Just a comment on social distancing.

SIL and her husband went out for a meal to a recently opened restaurant. Very proper 1,5 metres between them while eating ( nice Italian meal ) next to the locked wine cooler ????.

Strange thing is, they drove there and home ( in the same car ) and then had a bottle of wine at home. After that they went to bed, together.

As Greavsie said,

It's a funny old game.

Whats a wholesaler?

Makro? Followed by Tesco? In reality. Where do all the retailers buy their stock from?

I have seen multiple multiple times staff driving down to 7/11 ... to stock up, if beer runs short during a night (in the old times).

There are many alcohol wholesalers in Hua Hin, generally at least one in every main Soi and they tend to service the bars and restaurants in that Soi.  But that doesn't preclude a member of the public walking in and buying something.  For example, the one in Soi 94 is between Home Bar and Lanla Bar, if I remember correctly.
