Minister of Education Hang Chuon Naron on Tuesday wrote to Prime Minister Hun Sen requesting a delay of school reopening across the Kingdom until November, when the new academic year begins.

 

In his letter, Chuon Naron said the postponement is warranted to avoid the new coronavirus spreading in communities and to prevent a second wave of Covid-19 infections, despite the Kingdom reporting no new case over the past month.

 

As of Wednesday, only one out of a total of 122 Covid-19 patients remained hospitalised.

just as an reminder:

Hun Sen is an old communist Kader (the leading activists in a communist movement), he was a leading men under the Kmer Rouge. (in the end , he changed the sides and became the top puppet man when the Vietnames Army conquered Cambodia (God bless them for that !) to end the regime of the killing fields.

 

the reminder:  under the KmerRouge (translate: red Kmer) all education was evil, just having glasses, being a citizen of Phnom Phen, knowing an other language, having books and you are considered as evil and best to be killed (sad but the facts).  They killed about 1/3 of the whole population  !

 

(the Thai Regime did support the KmerRouge till the end (when most of the country was long in the hand of the Vietnamese army. Thailand (or you could name certain well influential groups if you prefer...) made business with  the Khmer Rouge . yes, also at that time some people in Thailand made alot of money , could buy mercedes benz and have fancy villas. Oh - not to forget, also  the US administration did support the KhmerRouge (these  stone age murderous communists ? Yes, enemies of your enemy (Vietnamese) are your friends. Yes , the US Governements did always have delicious "friends". (much preferred are kind of dictators or military regimes (shah in Iran, Philippines, SaudiArabia, Chile (Pinochet), Batista,  its an near endless list I do not remember all at once)

Same should happen here. November at earliest. Staggered shifts, half classes.
