Strangely, there is no help that I know of for sex addiction in Thailand, even Pattaya. I've always wondered why as many expats are in need of help.

That's not how it works.

 

It can cause Depression and Low Self-Esteem and moral conflicts. Many I know have a contradiction between their ethical values and their behavior.

Na, just retired and curious in my retirement while currently having my glass of red wine with lunch. Have to admit some affinity for #5 as the month long alcohol sales were drawing down my home supply. 555 One nice thing about being a, “soft touch”, a “weak sister” ... whatever ... I have always had a low tolerance for any type of “relaxant”. Back in the day, I told the girls, one drink and I am a friendly fellow, two glasses and I get amorous, three glasses and they were safe as I was getting sleepy. No, I haven't see a doctor since one of my kidney was taken away (1975).

And lucky I didn't have to see one, well at least that's what I think. 

Inconveniences come and then go away with me. 

If I go to see a doctor now, pretty sure he will forbid me a lot of things, if not everything I like. 

In no way I will pretend that my approach of things is the only correct one. 

Each of us in particular has to decide what he thinks is best for him. 

It would be nice if some will abstain to tell others what they should do. 

Some are prepare to accept the consequences. 

Government and officers having the authority, can of course require you to do what they want. 

Also here, there are some preparing to take the consequences when not obeying. 

They are however not so many.

Hope the recovery keeps progressing. 

I consider myself fortunate to have never been an alcoholic, although I was a big spender on alcohol. 

Recently I had a bit of an epiphany concerning how much money I had spent on alcohol and how much time and opportunities I had wasted as a result of hangovers.  So I decided to simply stop drinking. 

 

That was January 1st and I've not touched alcohol nor had any desire to since then.  

I can't get the time or money back but I sure as hell am not going to keep putting 100's of thousands of baht per year into some bar owners pockets again.

Yes i can. And it was the most horrible experience in my life. If I would describe it, some fools here would make jokes about it.

I was two week in IC and happy to be still alive after. That was 39years ago and sins then I didn't have to drink one drop of booze. I could not do this without AA and now I'm happy to help others if they want......
