If I had to choose between TVF members, a clown, a presidents doctor who clearly stated that he prescribed it only because his patient insisted, and an expert immunologist with 40 years experience, I know who my money would be on.

Me too. Obviously, the doctor and his patient. Good call.

The moment Trump made a public statement on medication he’s taking and the dosage it is no longer ‘between Trump and his Doctor’.

Trump has been promoting this drug from the WH and he is now endorsing it with statements on his own usage.

If you don’t like people discussing Trump’s usage of this drug, take it up with Trump, he started the conversation.

I love the discussion. But it still all comes back to it's between the doctor and patient.

Having read up on the list of likely side effects I think he might be telling the truth.

There are side effects that are "likely"? I wonder why the FDA approved a drug that is "likely" to give such side effects. And to approve it for pregnant women... wow.

Bottom line in this entire discussion is the same as in all discussions about hydroxychloroquine . . . people have been actively discounting it, dismissing it's potential out of hand and even cheer leading it's failure from day one.  Everyone who's guilty of doing so has their reasons and some of the reasons are quite obvious.  One reason is certainly that Orange Man Bad suggested it's use and Orange Man Bad is not permitted any success whatsoever because of the need to get Orange Man Bad out of office.  That, my friends, is sick beyond measure.

Crazy Alex is correct . . . it's Trump's decision.  So what?  All of the rationales given by the libs for their hysterically indignant responses are logically bogus.  May this thread die a righteous and ignonymous death to prevent further unnecessary embarrassment.

A bit like the testimonials they use in advertising.

When people decide something between them and their doctor, they don't necessarily need to make a public statement.

Between Trump, his doctor and 100+ million TV households. ????

So what?  Are you against the success of hydroxychloroquine?  It sure seems that way.  Orange Man Bad.  Orange Man Bad cannot have success with anything.  Orange Man Bad must be defeated in November.  Down with hydroxychloroquine.

LOL.  As I said, everyone has their reasons and some reasons are only too obvious.

Well I finally agree with you on something, yes you are making a ridiculous argument, and yes you are a bigot in each of your examples. Was the definition not clear enough for you?

You make a statement like Trump supporters as a group have a problem with facts and the truth? Is 100% a bigoted statement, and an untrue statement.

Howard Stern is an expert now, that is actually your credible evidence that Trump supporters have a problem with facts? Well you say it is a ridiculous argument why did you make it?

So I'd be a bigot in each of those examples?  That's just nutty.  According to your definition, EVERYBODY is a bigot.  You certainly are, having made negative comments about Democrats and liberals.

As for Howard Stern, the guy has spent countless hours with Trump, both on-air and off-air.  I doubt you have.  He knows Donald Trump much, much better than you do.  So of course he has more credibility than you or any Trump supporter.

Pelosi slams Trump for taking hydroxychloroquine, calls him 'morbidly obese'

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/pelosi-slams-trump-taking-hydroxychloroquine-calls-him-morbidly-obese-n1210136

So to summarize, Trump taking a decades old and effective anti-viral in the middle of a global pandemic is wrong. Yet, injecting your face with botulinum, one of the most toxic substances known to peoplekind is all well and fine. I am not sure Nancy has properly thought this through.

Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.

It is one of the most poisonous naturally occurring substances in the world.

What i am positive of is that you certainly didnt think it through before your post.

nancy brilliantly trolled the tweetie pie again, morbidly obese.

Nancy Pelosi:  "As far as the president is concerned, he's our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group, morbidly obese, they say. So, I think it's not a good idea."

Does anyone else find it interesting that so many are feverishly (excuse the pun) attempting to dissuade the use of a drug that so many have found success with?  What's their true motivation?  Nancy's is most obvious.  But what of others?

From the Costa Rican news outlet Q Costa Rica - Hydroxychloroquine: The Drug Costa Rica Uses Successfully To Fight Covid-19

The medical director of the Caja, Mario Ruiz, as the director of Pharmacoepidemiology, Marjorie Obando Elizondo, the director of the Children’s Hospital, Olga Arguedas and the minister of Health, Daniel Salas, confirmed the use of the drug and the success in mitigating and containing the progression of the virus and also in reducing the number of patients who must be hospitalized in intensive care units.

“In Costa Rica we have been applying hydroxychloroquine since we had a meeting by teleconference with personnel in China who attended the emergency in the cities of Shanghai and Wuhan,” explained Ruiz.

Also, Shanghai's use of hydroxychloroquine early on was their front line defense against the Wuhan virus.

You know, to Donny's credit, assuming he actually is taking hydroxychloroquine, it improves obesity-associated insulin resistance and hepatic steatosis by regulating lipid metabolism.

Obesity, having too much body fat, is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of greater than 30. Morbid obesity, which is also termed “clinically severe obesity,” is typically defined as being more than 100 pounds overweight or having a BMI of 40 or higher. A BMI between 18-25 is considered normal.

It would be interesting to ask Boris Johnson what he thought about world leaders taking corona virus prophylaxis. I bet Putin is.

That's pretty funny, Boris Johnson and thinking in the same sentence. ????

Coronavirus: AstraZeneca could begin supply of potential COVID-19 vaccine in September

The drugs giant says it is ramping up capacity to "ensure the delivery of a globally accessible vaccine".

It is interesting, but not surprising, that when the corona virus was at its peak in Wuhan China, the media has never reported that the primary drug used to combat the virus in less severe and moderate cases there  was hydroxychloroquine.

Pointless, Johnson has already had Covid-19 and is presumably immune. No reports of him being given hydroxychloroquine during his treatment.

Putin is an extremely intelligent guy (unlike Trump) and unlikely to take a drug that has zero benefits and could be harmful to his health.

So what? Health professionals and scientists are not looking for information in MSM or tweets. They use specialised information channels.

I wonder if once again the mocking was premature?

British researchers believe hydroxychloroquine's 'best chance' of working is if it used in prevention, which is exactly how it is used against malaria.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8342933/UK-frontline-workers-given-hydroxychloroquine-clinical-trial.html

From your link:

"The UK Government has said that chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are not licensed to treat COVID-19 related symptoms or prevent infection."

This drug is not used in the UK for the treatment (or prevention) of Covid-19. My daughter and son-in-law, both front line workers in the UK, won't be joining the trial, in their words, "Trump is a nut job".

And now, as reported deaths attributed to the COVID-19 virus pass 100,000 in the US, the guy responsible for more than half of those deaths goes golfing. ???? Talk about obtuse and totally unempathetic. ????
