No. Don't even TRY to say Trump isn't the biggest liar of all presidents, and his followers give him a pass. EVERYONE knows it - even Twitter. ESPECIALLY Twitter!

LOL  Another poster who can't seem to understand the content he reads.  Nowhere in that particular discussion were we talking about Trump's lies.  It's what a lot of folks here have been pointing out forever . . . libs like to make things up.

In regards to Twitter , Trump needs to be more precise and not so robust .

He should say *There will most probably be voter fraud* , rather than stating that there will be

Florida already does mail ins, for any reason. Trump has mailed in. His press secretarty has done it 11 times in 10 years.

Even saying fraud is a slight possibility may cause a fact cjeck as there really is no evidence even after trump set up a committee to find it.

Sadly, another Trump supporter who doesn't understand or denies facts. That's EXACTLY what this topic is about. Trump got publicly exposed for lying and he's having a temper tantrum for it.

Agree, Nixon...I'm not a crook! Bush...Mission accomplished! Trump... Drink disinfectant, it's good for you! Yeah right!

Here's a fact no one can deny.  From the most noble acts man is capable of to the most vilest all is allowed in this world.  Why?  That's a short answer to your question.

That's not a short answer, that's a dodge.  Answer the question:  Are you opposed to censorship of terrorist recruiting videos, child pornography, solicitation for illegal activities, out right lies, etc.?

As an aside, I deny your fact.  Whether you are referring to morality, human deeds or physical reality, all is not allowed in this world.

Why not just simply put the responsibility/culpability right back to the user(s) who post lies and rubbish?

If every user had to be verified with I.D, and actually held personally responsible for their own comments, all the rubbish would end tomorrow.

I don't think that would end all the rubbish, but there would be fewer trolls and bots.  That would help.

All is allowed in this world.  Everyone is free to act in any manner they choose.  There is no supernatural force stepping in to prevent anyone from doing anything they choose to do . . . ever.  If you still disagree then give an example where it is not true.

Given the above then if in nature's wisdom nature does not impinge upon or deny man his freedom of choices then why should man attempt to do so?  From the moment man tries to directly counter natural law, freedom, by justifying a single exception to the rule he opens up a Pandora's box in that the exceptions to the rule become endless.  Isn't that what's happening?  Even now man is targeting such things as offensive speech, something that can only and will always be vague and arbitrary, to be an exception to the rule of freedom of speech.  Where does it end?

All of these attempts to limit freedom of speech are justified in the name of . . . safety.  Safety in one form or another.

Benjamin Franklin - Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

America's founders had this stuff all figured out.  People of today have forgotten the truths of what the founders had come to learn.  You can be sure that the founders gave long and deep thought to these issues, unlike the emotionally driven, thoughtless ideas people of this day and age would jump at and implement to supplant great ideas, great expressions of eternal truths which don't change with the wind over time.

I understand people's desire to create a world in which the vile does not exist.  I desire it myself.  But at least I know that it can never be achieved through force, or even with the passage of ever more laws (a form of force).  Consider this quote from the Knickerbocker magazine of Sept. 1842 (can't determine the author): "You can neither legislate a man into virtue nor vice. You cannot legislate a class up or down. Their salvation must come from themselves. It is an inward revolution that is needed, not an outward."

As far as I know that is the only true solution to social issues such as freedom of speech.  People seriously need to go beyond so many of today's false ideas and learn real truths.

So if you still haven't figured out my answer I'll be perfectly blunt.  I wouldn't attempt to suppress any of it.  I wouldn't be so foolish.  Doing so affords me no protections I am in need or want of.  Granted, you won't understand a single thing I wrote.  I know that in advance, LOL.

Quite an objectionable post to assume no one understands your prolific blather - we know better than to read your blah de blah. Again, the topic is Trump is unhappy for getting caught out for lying.

Failed reality star? The Apprentice went on for 14 years and includes at least one spin off and licensing the show to multiple countries. Trump made $214 million off The Apprentice franchise. Sounds like awesome success to any rational person.

Now let's take on your "same stature as real politicians" jive. Trump beat Hillary in the US presidential election. As such, he enjoys all the benefits and responsibilities of being president- including stature.

You are entitled to your own opinion. You are NOT entitled to make up "facts" - and certainly not without having thoroughly debunked.

cant blame him for this, their call out(fact checker) is done by a trump hater that has done several tweets that are extremely biased, the link they added to the tweet goes to cnn and is totally fake news, there are people being charged for voter fraud and court cases on mail fraud currently in the US that debunks twitters call out totally plus they are not fact checking anyone elses posts(dems etc). Doesnt matter if you like or hate trump, these businesses have to abide by the law and they are not doing that with what they are now doing, even unbiased reporters(and ones that vote dem) are criticizing twitter for what they have done as it will effect more than just them with the new laws when they emerge, cant simply rag out one side of politics and let the other side say whatever they want, has to be totally neutral or it is against the regulations that are in place

Truth can be made to be lies and lies can be made to be truth.  That is self evident.

I could not agree with you more as evident by trump's twits and press conferences and Kellyanne's alternative facts ,

Stature is not a benefit. it is a privilege that is earned . History will determine "stature". So far his behavior indicates a very low one. As evident by the reaction of world leaders toward him Well at least he is  good for a good laugh.

Trudeau video: A rare glimpse of how other leaders really talk ...

"Everyone is free to act in any manner they choose.  There is no supernatural force stepping in to prevent anyone from doing anything they choose to do . . . ever."

Another diversion.  There are ample forces preventing people from doing whatever they choose to do.  Laws of nature (try defying gravity), physical constraints (that's what prisons are for), physical limitations (ever run a three minute mile?) and mental limitations.  Your inability to give a direct answer to a direct question may fall in that last category.

"Given the above then if in nature's wisdom nature does not impinge upon or deny man his freedom of choices then why should man attempt to do so?

From this and the rest of your post I assume you are an anarchist that thinks society can get by without rules.  I disagree.  I challenge you to show me an example of a society that gets by without rules and some enforcement of these rules.

But you have finally admitted that you object to censorship of terrorist recruitment videos, child pornography, promotion of illegal activities, etc.  Your acceptance of child pornography is telling; it seems you think that children will be raped and there's nothing society should do about it.

In his defence? Trump and his cult with their constant lies are the worst of the abusers.

No, this is the worst case of red herring - "they did it so pay no attention to what I did."

Every person's actions are judged on their own merit or worthlessness. Trump is a racist tweeter and he's being called out for it. Don't excuse it because of others' bad actions.
