Introducing a Mascot for Pattaya Police

Pattaya Police Chief, Police Colonel Sutin Sappuang introduced a new Police Mascot to the public at a special Press conference on 17th April.

The Mascot is sponsored by the Mike Group of Companies represented at the meeting by Managing Director, Mr. Surat Mekhawarakul.

The Police Activity, Radio and Television Department organized a special programme on TV called “Crime Story” starring the Mascot. This programme warns people about crime and teaches how to protect their belongings and lives when in trouble. This is a dual language (Thai and English) programme that broadcasts on 12 cable TV channels around the Eastern Seaboard. It broadcasts every Sunday after the midday news for 1 hour on all channels at the same time.

The Police Mascot has already been around Pattaya promoting itself to the public and now the Pattaya Police Chief thinks that it should be named. People can send in name suggestions to www.pattayapolicetv.com

A prize is waiting for the winning name that the police like and choose for their new star mascot.
