I doubt anyone really cares about his words after his performance at the UN was exposed as lies untrue when no WMD were found in Iraq. 1 2

He backed out of Syria and let the Russians have their way. He backed out of helping Guaido in Venezuela at the crucial moment when Maduro already had his bags packed: Putin told Maduro not to step down, DT went silent, and John Foster Dulles rolled over in his grave. For Guaido to succeed at that moment would not have required US armed forces. As far as foreign policy is concerned, this is probably the most un-Republican thing he has done so far (well, in the public eye). You guys who claim to be Republicans and give this guy unwavering support, well... The US should never have got involved in Syria. Getting out ( if in fact they have ) is, IMO, the only sensible choice. Why should the US be involved in Venezuelan domestic politics anyway? It's not their business. The US has interfered in Sth America for decades if not hundreds of years with horrible consequences for the poor people. It's not necessary to be Republican to support Trump and many Republicans don't support Trump. If support is given, it's, IMO, more about supporting the better of two awful alternatives given the Democrat candidates of the past and present campaigns. Till Trump haters understand that it's pointless trying to explain that. However continue attacking the individual by all means................................ 1

Interesting POV US shouldn't have been involved with the fight against ISIS. Currently it would be a terrible decision for US to withdraw from Syria leaving Kurdish forces, who were instrumental for removal of IS ground forces, exposed to attack by a number of different forces. 3

LBJ had the scrotal fortitude to push through the Civil Rights amendment, that seemed to be the only major difference at the time. The real split started in the 1990s with Newt Gingrich, the split widened when Karl Rove and Cheney entered the picture and fabricated the cause for invading Iraq (again), and poor C. Powell and Condee Rice were blindsided. The right-wing reaction to Obama getting elected and having a you-know-what in the WH resulted the chaos the US has today. Don't expect the party similarities to go back to what they were 60+ years ago any time soon. 1
