One more week to see if Covid-19 vaccine works on monkeys

The result of blood samples taken from 13 monkeys who have been injected with different doses of Covid-19 mRNA vaccine will be available in a week, Dr Kiat Ruxrungtham, chief of Chula VRC (Chula Centre of Excellence in Vaccine Research and Development), said on Sunday (June 7).

He said three groups of monkeys had been vaccinated on May 23, and that their blood will be tested to see if the vaccine boosts immunity against the virus.

He added that the research will be deemed successful if at least two samples show a boost in immunity. However, if the result is not satisfactory, then researchers will have to wait another four weeks before testing blood samples again.

“If the blood tests reveal good results, then we will order the production of about 10,000 doses and the prototype should be out in October. Then we will move to the next step and test the vaccine on volunteers,” Dr Kiat added.

And how will they do a phase 3 trial without ongoing infections in Thailand? It will be even impossible in most European countries now.

They are dreamers.

Possibly give the proposed vaccine to 10,000 Thai people.  If virus counts do not go up, then declare it effective in preventing the virus and market it to the world.  (Ignore the fact that reported virus counts have not been rising in Thailand for along time already)

2 out of 13 would be a positive test to forcefully inject the whole population with chemicals ?

check the monkeys after they are exposed to the REAL VIRUS ... most animals died at that point the SARS trials many years ago ... and you know of what?   CYTOKINE STORM, exactly what people died from in hospitals put on ventilators...

They are dreamers.

That's why the Oxford University Vaccine for one, is being tested in Brazil, where the outbreak is still growing apace.

they can always ask a fresh sample from WUHAN lab

They would have to ask the USA, they paid for it, along with "Kill Bill Gates" off course!

The sample size is too small, the lead time is not sufficient and the post assessment needs a great deal of time. Ergo, this is not tenable. The virus, as always, will have mutated. Best go to Vicks.

I think 13 monkeys in 3 different groups with different amount of vaccine.

very small sample, several different variables in very small sample

small time to build immunity

1st step of any new chemicals is to make sure it does not cause more harm than good.

2nd step is - does it cause benefit (small sample size)

3rd step - - larger group with significant benefits and no serious side-effects

But with 13 monkeys, with unknown results, they are already claiming victory on creating a vaccine for the world population.

Where are you getting that from? There's no mention of injecting anybody with this vaccine forcibly, let alone the whole population.

apparently you are sleeping for the last couple of ...

this whole plandemic is the ideal moment for big pharma to finally be able to force adults to get lot's of injections for those nasty critters ...

scare enough people and they will line up to get injected

you don't know that in CALIFORNIA, there is no vaccine EXEMPT anymore ?

That's not quite true - there were over a dozen different candidate vaccines for SARS. Only two of them led to the phenomenon of "vaccine-induced pathology" - one in ferrets and one in mice (none in monkeys). also none of the animals died as a result of this issue.

See extract below from a paper discussing this:

Quote

There have only been two reports of possible vaccine-induced pathology in SARS vaccine trials to date. In one study, ferrets vaccinated with the poxvirus vector MVA expressing SARS-CoV S protein displayed increased liver pathology after challenge.

[...]

In the other study that raised vaccine safety concerns, vaccination [...] was reported to increase eosinophilic infiltration and damage in lungs of mice challenged with SARS-CoV. This has not been reported in other studies.

[...]

In the cases where it has been reported, it appears to be confined to a particular expression system rather than specifically related to any antigen. In the vast majority of studies, immunogenicity has been elicited without any negative impact on health after challenge with the virulent pathogen.

SARS vaccines - where are we?

We already know this is going to end up with the headline “Thailand finds Cure for Covid-19” just as it has claimed with other outbreaks such as Ebola and HIV.

...and of course the already pre-existing claim of... “Thai medics claim coronavirus break, patient declared disease free for 48 hours.

Given they've not bothered recording their temperatures twice a day or using the Thai Chana app as instructed, what's the bet the monkeys don't even show up for next week's blood test.

no vaccine EXEMPT - maybe this is the same as mask and temperature checks required to enter.

Does a business/country have the right to deny entry if it deems your actions a risk to the safety of the business/country?

Government schools may mandate for the safety of the school.

You could try private school -but they would probably set safety first

I think they will not require vaccine, but you may be prevented from certain activities if the organizers believe un-vaccinated people pose a risk to the organization. I would also think a government could insist non-citizens entering a country to be vaccinated.  If you do not want to be vaccinated, then choose other countries to visit.

Vaccination will not be forced on you.  Just participation denied.
