New Licensing Hours for Pattaya Restos??

Featured Replies

Have been told that the new licensing hours for restaurants are 11.00 - 14.00 and 17.00 - 23.00.

Anybody can confirm?

Thanks for responding though the posts are a bit confusing.

I take it you are confirming the restricted hours to replace the previous more relaxed times.

Irritating but better than nothing.

On another forum I have heard confirnation of the timings in some eateries, and of other places where restrictions are not being applied. Guess we may have to wait to see how it all shakes out.

I spent yesterday evening in a fallang-owned restaurant.  The owner had heard the same, but nothing official, only talk, so he's ignoring it until/unless he's officially notified.  Even an official document posted in Facebook would do, but he sees no reason to cut down the alcohol hours (profit) until something comes.

It seems anyway not to be a national order.

I was yesterday in a pub/restaurant in Ekamai, and they serve alcohol all day.

Another one in Thonglor is reopening today at 3 p.m., with food and alcoholic drinks.
