Foreigners in Phuket now allowed to travel on interprovincial buses

PHUKET:-- Foreigners are now allowed to travel on interprovincial buses, the chief of Phuket Bus Terminal 2 has confirmed. The rule change was announced on Saturday and came into effect today (June 15).

Thailand will be very choosy about who can visit, insists Anutin

Only countries that have not had a severe outbreak of Covid-19 will be made part of Thailand’s “travel bubble” and the Kingdom will restrict the type of travellers allowed into the country, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Monday (June 15).

Agency to push for Bt5,000 monthly remedy for rubber farmers

The Rubber Authority of Thailand plans to propose on June 16 that the Bt5,000 monthly remedial cash be given to 143,700 rubber farmers for three months, Nakorn Tangavirapat, the authority’s deputy governor, said on Monday (June 15).

Over 32,000 people to be provided with part-time jobs
