There are reports he was radicalised whilst in prison. As I posted in another topic time for HMG to overhaul the regulations to keep Islamists completely separated from the general prison population as in prison radicalisation is know to security services Also to add extra time in prison, if not already sentenced to life, for any one grooming people for Islamist ideology.

is there any evidence it was a homophobic attack? reports to date have referred to terrorism and mental illness, and the victims happened to be gay. if you have evidence to the contrary could you post links?

Data is available from HMG, an example at the link below. However, there have been many concerns raised regards bias in police and the criminal justice system in the UK; don't know if an enquiry has supported the claims or not.
