There was an older thread from 2019 on this, but it is closed.

 

Does anyone know where I can buy a reasonably priced region free 4K UHD Blu Ray player here in Thailand?  These are not available from the manufacturer, but have usually been specifically modified by the retailer.  

I currently have a Samsung 4K UHD M9500 player from the UK (non region free), that cost me about £250 a few years ago. Similar models on Lazada that is region free are over THB39,000. Not sure if that is due to the cost of modification, or due to the fact that Samsung no longer make Blu Ray players.

 

Seems like ridiculous prices for players that are in no way high end models.

 

Any advice appreciated.
